PA Law requires standardized testing of homeschoolers in 1st,3rd,5th and 8th grades.  If your child was not 8 and therefore not registered as a homeschooler for 1st grade then no testing is required for that grade.

Group Testing Dates:

Janet Preston plans to administer the Iowa Test of Basic Skills for 3rd through 8th graders in her home (9129 State Road, Cranesville, PA 16410) on Wednesday and Thursday, March 16-17, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. each day.  A testing fee of $25.00 per student will be due on Wednesday morning.  You may order the tests at 800.845.5731 or at bjupresstesting.com.  BJU literature states that orders should be submitted 4-6 weeks prior to the test date.   Before ordering the tests from BJU, please call Janet (814-774-8598) to let her know you plan to join the group being tested on March 16 and 17 and to get her tester ID for ordering through BJU.
